TATTOO REGRETS?

WHAT IS LASER TATTOO REMOVAL?

Laser tattoo removal is a medical procedure that uses a high-powered laser to break down tattoo pigments into smaller particles, which are then removed by the body's immune system.

The laser emits short pulses of intense light that pass through the top layers of the skin and are absorbed by the tattoo ink.

The energy from the laser causes the ink to fragment into tiny particles that are eventually eliminated by the body's immune system.

OUR LASER TECHNOLOGY

-Q-SWITCH LASER

Q-switched lasers are a type of solid-state laser that can produce short, high-intensity pulses of light. The "Q" in Q-switched stands for "quality factor," which is a measure of the energy stored in the laser cavity.

In a Q-switched laser, the laser cavity is designed to have a high Q-factor, which means that the energy in the cavity can build up to very high levels.

A Q-switch is then used to rapidly change the cavity's Q-factor from high to low, causing the stored energy to be released as a short, high-intensity pulse of light.

This technique allows Q-switched lasers to produce very high peak powers, which makes them useful for a variety of applications such as laser marking, tattoo removal, and material processing.

DOES IT HURT?

This is often the biggest concern that clients have in regard to tattoo removal. Most clients comment that “it was not as painful as I thought it would be”. The treatment is close to being flicked with a few rubber bands. But we are here to make sure that you are comfortable with the treatment. We have ice packs available and do recommend numbing cream.

We have non-scripted numbing and recommend scripted numbing and possible medication so that it is an easy process. This can only be scripted to you by your Doctor.

HOW DO I MAKE IT MORE COMFORATBLE?

We suggest that you consult with your Doctor prior to the treatment so they may help you manage your pain with medication and numbing cream. You will be less stressed, calm and able to manage the discomfort a lot better with support from your medical practitioner.

The treatment process is incredibly quick. Some businesses choose to use cooling systems which are also effective but on larger areas it can still be uncomfortable.

We aim to get the work done rapidly, stress and pain free. This is how we manage to be the most affordable tattoo removal clinic in Australia.

Tattoo removal can be a comfortable process with the aid of numbing cream. This is best scripted with 10% lidocaine and is to be sought through a qualified Medical Practitioner.

*disclaimer - under no circumstances are we offering medical advice. This is only a recommendation to take to a qualified Doctor for advice and scripting. We are not qualified to offer any advice with numbing creams and will not be held responsible if the advice of a Doctor is not followed.

AFTERCARE   *EXTREMELTY IMPORTANT TO READ*

The after care is important and this is why we recommend scripting epinephrine to reduce the swelling and to manage any discomfort. It is important to reduce any opportunity for infection and to manage the treatment area with appropriate wound care. Do not pick or scratch the area and allow the body to heal from beneath the skin. Do not expose the wound to sunlight and make sure it is kept clean and covered with a non-stick dressing until it has healed.

It is of the upmost importance that this is treated as an open wound injury and is kept clean buy applying antiseptic cream 3 times a day and changing the non-stick dressing accordingly.

It is a very quick treatment. It takes about 5 minutes for a shoulder sleeve and a few seconds for a coin-sized tattoo on the forearm. We will have you out in a very short time!
